On 30th March 2009 (this was initially believed to be an early april fool) the band confirmed that one of the lead singers in Sonic Syndicate, Roland Johansson would leave the band because of personal reasons. Sonic Syndicate has already began searching for a replacement for Roland, but will continue all confirmed shows until further notice
